Canon, based on the digital SLR camera "EOS 60D", a custom model "EOS 60Da"
with the best optical property for astronomical shooting will be released
by sales on orders from mid-April.
Based on "EOS 60D" which released in the fall of 2010,
the characteristics in the low-pass filter placed in front of CMOS sensor was changed.
The transmittance of the "emission line Hα" which is one of the wavelength of light,
such as the nebula emits, has become up to three times to give a tuning in order
to shoot precisely such a strong reddish nebula as Rose Nebula and Horsehead Nebula that is popular for astronomical fans.
